Boilermaker Aquatics added a new competition opportunity to our team calendar for the 2025 Long Course season by participating in the Indiana Swimming Open Water State Championships for the first time! The team took 21 qualifying athletes down to Fishers, Indiana to race not inside a pool, but outside in the open water at Geist Waterfront park. Last week, USA Swimming announced the complete list of 2023-24 Scholastic All-America recipients. The list consists of 1,790 athletes in grades 9-12 who maintained a minimum 3.5 grade point average (GPA) and met any of the competition criteria* during the qualifying period of September 1, 2023 – August 31, 20 24. TEAM, good afternoon! I want to briefly draw your attention to an opportunity for one of our athletes and one of our coaches this week. USA Swimming sponsors an annual Zone Select Camp for each of the 4 zones in the U.S. (attached graphic).
